• 2 Connect Devs - smaller efforts, updates / tuning to lambdas, adding data fields into something, tbd, work w/ leads that have items they want to get done

Position

Purpose:

Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards,
and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.
Education/

Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 - 7 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

• Do you have any additional upcoming hiring needs or is this request part of a larger hiring initiative? Team purpose is to support and enhance the current Amazon Connect Telephony environment
dedicated to Centene's various products and lines of business.
The team is multi-talented with a range of skills and experience. Key projects include the maintenance
and daily upkeep/support of the Amazon Connect environment and related resources.
This is a backfill for a FTE. Not part of a larger initiative. Typical Day in the Role
• Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities and a description of the project (Outside of the Workday JD).

• What makes this role unique? Daily expectations are to attend all tag up and team meetings.
Mentor and help others where you can.
Backend development for Amazon Connect. Production support for Amazon Connect backend code.
This role is often best filled with a former team lead or a lead developer position.
Product owner/manager skills are a plus but leaning more towards a technical and developmental role.
Stretch goals are to progress towards an IT architectural position for Centene.
Expectations will be to perform at a level that can lead others in development practices and specific configurations that Centene requires. Candidate Requirements Education/CertificationRequired:
Bachelors
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification needed Preferred:
Years of experience required: 5-7 years relevant experience overall. Need at least 3-4 years aws app dev experience.

Disqualifiers: missing minimum aws app dev experience

Additional qualities to look for:
Healthcare would be a plus
