About the Role

The HRIS Lead supports the day-to-day operation and improvement of MERS Goodwill's SAP Success Factors and UKG Pro/WFM systems. The HRIS Lead will play a lead role in system enhancements, process changes, system maintenance, and platform upgrades. This role will prioritize improvements and work to stabilize the systems, aligning them with the agency's objectives.

This role is 100% on-site. The HRIS Lead is a hands-on role, not an advisory one. The HRIS Lead configures and administers the system while guiding team members.

Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, information systems, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Hands-on administrator experience with an HRIS/WFM platform such as UKG Pro and/or WFM, SAP Success Factors, or a comparable system.
  • Demonstrated capability of system configuration, security, and access in a production environment.
  • Experience with system implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience working with HRIS vendors and implementation partners.
  • Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong documentation and written communication skills, including system support guides and support ticket documentation.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Strong commitment to handling sensitive employee data with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Adherence to ethical standards, ensuring compliance with company policies, data privacy regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain integrity when working with systems and system access controls.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
  • Take a lead role in system enhancements, configuration, process updates, system maintenance, and platform upgrades across Success Factors and UKG.
  • Manage the internal employee support ticketing process, ensuring timely, responsive resolution of requests from staff across the agency.
  • Manage the third- party ticketing process with external vendors, tracking issues through resolution and holding partners accountable to commitments.
  • Help execute the HRIS roadmap: evaluate requests, weigh impact versus effort, and recommend what gets built and when.
  • Configure and test enhancements and reconfigurations, while maintaining system settings, workflows, and business rules.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, system support guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Validate data through audits to protect data integrity and maintain accurate records, ensuring organizational hierarchy remains current.
  • Supervise HRIS team member(s), setting standards for ticket handling, documentation, process flows, and turnaround.
  • Evaluate the impact of system changes on end users and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Create and maintain reports, providing summaries.
  • Maintain a working understanding of how processes flow across the modules.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and organizational policy, safeguarding sensitive employee data.
