Job Description:
- Perform daily backup operations and replication on local/DR site.
- Work to provide storage solutions for efficient and safe data backup.
- Plan, deploy and administer the backup system hardware and software.
- Configure backup clients/install agents/monitor the backup jobs.
- Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments.
- Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients.
- Configuration of backup solution on requested servers. Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines.
- Handling backup failures and resolve within defined SLA.
- Backup Capacity monitoring and reporting.
- Work on Disaster recovery planning/execution.
