A respected law firm is seeking a Case Assistant to join its Immigration Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and paralegals, supporting global clients and their employees and families with comprehensive immigration services. The Case Assistant will report directly to the attorneys in the practice group.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys in determining case strategy
- Gather and organize documentation from clients
- Review and analyze case documents; prepare immigration applications
- Assemble and file submissions with government agencies
- Communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding case processing and procedures
- Manage case files and track case status
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet practice needs
- 3-5 years of business immigration law experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Microsoft Office Suite
- PDF creation tools
- Document management software
- Timekeeping software (e.g., Intapp)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive matters
- Ability to meet minimum billable hourly requirements
- Physical ability to transport files and office supplies as needed
- Willingness to work overtime and travel when required
$49,000 - $74,000 (based on experience and location)
