Eminent Domain Paralegal

Lewis Rice LLC, a large St. Louis law firm, is hiring an Eminent Domain Paralegal. The position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, a minimum of two years of relevant experience, and a Paralegal certificate (preferred).

Hours:

9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits include major medical plans, a 401(k) plan, and paid parking.

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of eminent domain cases
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
• Organize and maintain case files and evidence
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses
• Manage deadlines and court filings
• Utilize technology resources to support attorneys and clients
• Other duties as assigned

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate preferred
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to utilize technology resources effectively
