Attorney - Insurance Defense

Adams & Martin Group is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney in St. Louis, MO. The Attorney will represent insurance companies and their insureds in civil litigation matters. This role involves defending claims related to personal injury, property damage, and liability disputes.

Compensation will vary upon experience: $70,000 - $150,000+++

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage insurance defense cases from inception to resolution.
  • Prepare and argue motions, attend hearings, and conduct trials.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, and briefs.
  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Advise clients on case strategy and risk assessment.
  • Maintain compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active state bar license.
  • 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation preferred.
  • Strong analytical and trial preparation skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
