Pay Range: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per hour
Job DescriptionThis position manages the planning and completion of activities related to the monitoring, documenting, and reporting of the employment services activities of the organization.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities- Review and possess a working knowledge of all grants related to the Employment Services Department.
- Prepare reports for grant‑funded activities and programs and oversee department budget.
- Delegate the completion and distribution of roster to team.
- Manage the day‑to‑day duties, communication, and documentation of the Department Coordinators.
- Oversee the management of established relationships with employers to acquire employment for graduates.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day activities of the Employment Services team inclusive of case management.
- Visit department of corrections to present and recruit for agency reentry programs.
- Submit monthly reports to the COO detailing all activities of the employment services group.
- Monitor and delegate recruitment efforts and program eligibility of clients.
- Manage the needs assessment of those who meet requirements, identify barriers to employment.
- Manage the on‑going support for job search and employment (current and past graduates).
- Attend all staff meetings, graduations, events, and other required activities. Travel to multiple locations.
- Attend community functions, outreach efforts, and other community activities as needed.
- Conduct staff evaluations.
Skills and Abilities
- Successfully manage a team and understand current employment and industry trends.
- Understand and practice the NASW code of ethics.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Utilize agency and community resources to meet goals.
- Team‑oriented and able to work independently.
- Familiar with MS Office.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Employment Relations, Community Outreach, Management or related, preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related field in combination with experience may be sufficient.
- Competence in working with adults who need direction as it relates to responsible parenting issues as well as reentry population, corrections, and Department of Justice experience.
- At least 5 years in employment, workforce development, or related capacity, plus previous management experience.
- Valid Missouri driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
