Brooksource is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our telecommunications client, Charter, on a major multi-application unification initiative. This architect will play a key role in designing integrations across several existing systems—spanning tech mobile and applications used by various technician groups including construction, maintenance, and supply chain.

This role is ideal for an architect who excels at system integration design, understands complex enterprise environments, and is comfortable working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Lead architectural design for a large-scale program focused on consolidating multiple technician-facing applications into a single unified platform.
• Partner with stakeholders from construction, maintenance, supply chain, and other operational teams to understand workflows, tools, and system needs.
• Design integration patterns across diverse backend and frontend systems and communicate solutions effectively to development teams.
• Produce high-quality architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Act as a hands‑on architect with the ability to support and guide coding teams, though this role will not involve writing production code.
• Ensure architectural solutions align with enterprise standards, scalability needs, and long‑term platform strategies.

• Strong background as a Solutions Architect or Application Architect in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing frontend and backend integrations across multiple systems.
• Strong understanding of enterprise‑level Java applications and design patterns.
• Deep familiarity with Spring Boot for building microservices and modular backend components.
• Experience architecting or designing solutions within an AWS cloud environment.
• Experience working with diverse user groups and translating operational needs into technical design.
• Ability to thrive in environments with high complexity and multiple legacy applications.
• Contract candidates must be GC holders or U.S. Citizens.
• This is a hands‑on architecture role—ideal for someone who understands coding practices even if they are not coding day‑to‑day.
