As a Production Team Lead, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production schedules are met with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture within the facility.

About the Role

As a Production Team Lead, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production schedules are met with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture within the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate material flow and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and support production targets.
  • Champion a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous protocols and maintaining a hazard-free workspace.
  • Monitor production output against quality standards, ensuring full compliance with FDA, ISO, and cGMP requirements.
  • Optimize operational costs by managing labor efficiency and product yield data.
  • Facilitate daily Gemba walks and manage visual management boards to track team performance.
  • Oversee Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and ensure equipment is operating at peak performance.
  • Drive 5S and Lean manufacturing objectives to eliminate waste and improve process flow.
  • Mentor and lead production staff to maintain high morale, attendance, and operational excellence.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production environment.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or logistics management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Working knowledge of DOT and FDA regulatory standards.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and meet inventory objectives.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
