The Furniture Assembler role is a full-time, on-site position located in St Louis, MO. This role involves assembling retail furniture and fixtures according to specifications, diagrams, and manufacturer instructions. Day-to-day tasks include unpacking components, verifying parts, using hand and power tools to assemble units, and ensuring all items are structurally sound and aesthetically aligned. The Furniture Assembler will inspect completed work for quality, follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

The role may also include minor repairs, adjustments, and assisting with installation or placement of assembled furniture in retail environments.

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and basic technical documentation.
• Proficiency in using common hand tools and power tools safely (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, wrenches) for furniture assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality, including accurate measurements, alignment, and finishing of assembled products.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move furniture components and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing or retail setting.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving assembly issues or defects.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate tasks with supervisors and colleagues.
• Commitment to workplace safety, including following company policies and using appropriate protective equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in furniture assembly, carpentry, retail fixture installation, or related work is preferred.
