Position SummaryThe Associate Manager, Shopper Activation role sits within the Energizer Global Marketing team, reporting to the Manager, Shopper Activation. This role works across the global organization and requires digital media expertise, omnichannel shopper marketing experience, strategic thinking, agility, collaboration and creativity. The colleague will be responsible for leveraging actionable, data‑driven shopper insights to build best‑in‑class shopper marketing plans that drive profitable volume growth and build the brand.
Responsibilities- Lead the execution of holistic and collaborative shopper marketing plans at assigned accounts, building upon brand‑led initiatives and programs to drive category growth.
- Consistently evaluate key shopper marketing programs 90 days post program completion, reviewing performance against objectives, sales results, brand share movement and ROI.
- Distill and leverage consumer, shopper and retailer information to build collaborative learning plans that help Energizer and account(s) achieve mutual business objectives.
- Strategically build broad and deep relationships with key marketing and merchandising contacts within accounts to deliver against business and brand objectives.
- Manage internal agency partners to ensure high quality deliverables result from agreed briefs.
- Utilize key data tools (Nitro, customer systems, FSI redemptions, etc.) for assigned accounts.
- Accountable for shopper POs and shopper budget level for assigned accounts.
- Own creative development and approval of custom displays and media assets.
- May also perform additional duties as assigned.
- 4‑year degree required with an emphasis on Business, Marketing.
- Minimum 3‑5 years experience in brand or trade marketing.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and ability to review KPIs, develop insights, and tie them back to business strategy.
- Experience developing, planning, and defending rationale for paid search investments by region and customer.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative and self‑direct.
- Strong cross‑functional communication skills and ability to influence and build relationships.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong project management skills and results driven.
- A passion for digital media planning and execution including paid search, digital display, and social.
The salary range for this position is USD $89,000.00/Yr. – USD $/Yr. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
