This role sits at the intersection of product management, marketing, and sales. The goal of this role is to translate the product’s unique value into benefits that resonate with key stakeholders across our target audiences. By highlighting benefits in a clear and convincing way, this role helps differentiate our product and services, which drives an increase in both product demand and usage.
Objectives- Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customer and target market
- Clearly identify the pain-points we solve and how that benefits our customers
- Articulate why our customers choose us over competitors
- Contribute to our go-to-market strategy focused on positioning and product/market fit
- Drive revenue growth and customer acquisition via product marketing execution
- Implement a strategy for breakthrough performance
- Establish budgets, tools, and systems driving measurable KPIs
- Follow and analyze market and competitive trends
- Manage the entire product marketing lifecycle, from launch plans for new products/features to ongoing positioning and promotion
- Establish profiles our ideal customer aligned to marketing personas detailing their pain points and the value proposition delivered by our product/services
- Create battle cards highlighting unique benefits of our product/services contrasted with alternative options
- Craft compelling content and product messaging across marketing channels, including website, blog, paid campaigns, social media, partner programs, conferences/events, analyst community, etc.
- Collaborate on “owned” marketing channels focused on driving top‑of‑funnel leads
- Assist in the creation of sales and lead generation campaigns and collateral
- Collaborate in the development of the product roadmap
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5‑7+ years of marketing experience
- 3‑5+ years of industry experience in eCommerce and/or order management
- Expert understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including content marketing, SEO, SEM, website analytics, social media, analyst relations
- Experience working with outside marketing agencies
- Experience in market research and competitive analysis
- Understanding of SaaS and cloud‑based technology solutions
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and content creation skills
- Creative execution with strong attention to detail
- Combination of strategic and tactical execution skills
- Analytic and quantitative thinking
- Leadership proficiency with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Advanced understanding of marketing automation within CRM systems
- Project management and task execution
- Positive, service‑oriented personality
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Willingness to travel (up to 33%)
