Job Summary

The Abortion Healing Ministry Program Manager will assist the Associate Director of AHM in the development and implementation of post‑abortion healing programs, including but not limited to Project Rachel, Project Joseph, Hope and Healing Retreats, and Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats. The position is part‑time in nature with office hours at the Catholic Renewal Center, Cardinal Rigali Center and ability to work remote typically one day each eyelife.

Occasional weekends and or evenings are required due to special programs and events.

Job Responsibilities
  • As an employee under the umbrella of the Archdiocese of St. Louis Respect Life Apostolate, attend major RLA events and programs such as quarterly parish coordinator meetings, annual Respect Life Conference, etc.
  • Attend RLA monthly team formation and assist with other RLA operations when requested if available.
  • Outreach and communication of AHM programming to Vicariates in the archdiocese as well as the neighboring diocese to reach those in need of healing.
  • Assist Associate Director with confidential communications with any client calls, texts or emails received via the AHM ministry helpline; complete intake information and assist in sending out resources or making referrals to AHM mentors, spiritual সফল, therapist and other AHM programs.
  • Maintain AHM records, files and documents related to programs and events, including confidential AHM client list to track resources and services rendered.

  • Attend and assist in facilitation of day and weekend retreats and programs.
  • Assist in developing content for AHM team regularly scheduled training meetings for the volunteers and clergy; assist with development of content for the day and weekend retreats.
  • Assist in outreach to priests, spiritual directors and therapists to continue to grow a list of resources available for client referrals.
  • Assist with development of outreach presentations and materials for use by parishes and youth groups, including but not limited to holy hours and prayer services on the long‑term physical, emotional and spiritual consequences of abortion.
  • Responsible for the designonjwa of promotional flyers for AHM retreats, Zoom classes, spiritual support group meetings, events and newspaper ads.
  • Communicate quarterly AHM programing via bulletin announcements sent Outbound to parish contacts.
  • Attend and represent the AHM at various parish, Archdiocesan, and ministry partner events that feature abortion healing (ex: Catholic Women for Christ Conference).
  • Maintain the AHM calendar of programs and events, including scheduling of weekend retreats for men and women, spiritual support groups, the Catholic Renewal Center open office hours staffing in the St. Joseph Suite, etc.
  • Oversight of the Rachel’s healing garden maintenance and volunteer Laudato Dvasté Garden Club activity which are RLA funded.
  • Attend training with USCCB Project Rachel Ministry and other AHM topics.
Job Requirements
  • Practicing Roman Catholic with a heart for healing and mercy. емес
  • Required:

    Bachelor’s degree; preferred in counseling, theology, nursing or health care or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs & Canva.
