Hemodialysis Clinical Nurse - (Part-Time) Days
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, is hiring a Part‑Time Hemodialysis Clinical Nurse for daytime shifts.
Salary & BenefitsPay range: $30.00 /hr – $47.28 /hr (based on skills and experience).
Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 (external hires only).

Additional Information About the Role- 24‑hour coverage with 2–12 hour shifts per week.
- Day shift or night shift.
- Staggered hours to maintain patient coverage.
- On-call 1–2 times per week, every third Saturday and occasional Sunday call.
- Unit opens at 06:30 and closes when the last procedure is completed.
- Dialysis unit has 6 stations monitored entirely by nursing staff.
- Position is full‑time 12‑hour day/evening shifts.

The dialysis unit cares for inpatients on chronic dialysis and those requiring acute dialysis. Preferred Qualifications Role PurposeProvides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care guidelines.
Responsibilities- Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration.
- Participates in patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development activities.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patients/families.
- Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
- Assesses patient preferences and barriers to care, considering values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
- Maintains a constant state of alertness; safety‑sensitive position.
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree.
- No prior experience required.
- No supervisor experience required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
