Overview
Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse position? The Gig Nursing Program allows you to select day or night shifts with no weekend, holiday, or shift commitment. You must schedule a minimum number of hours, remain available on short notice, and be flexible to last‑minute shift changes. The program does not guarantee shift hours, and cancellations will be announced first.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed prescriber or a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with department teams.
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Position Details
- Department: GIG
- Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float
- Shift: Various shifts available (4, 8, or 12 hour shifts)
- Incentives:
$30/hour + variable shift incentive; W-2 employee; minimum 12 hours every 90 days; maximum 30 hours a week (Sun‑Sat)

Qualifications
- Required
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. - Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state where duties are performed and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Experience: One year recent bedside LPN experience in Med‑Surg; two years for ED, ICU, etc.
- Certifications: Med‑Surg: BLS;
Critical Care: BLS, ACLS; ED: BLS, ACLS, PALS; IV certification required. - Preferred Experience: Epic experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing, walking, and ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, squat.
