Overview

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St.

Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The goal is nursing excellence and quality patient care. U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital #2 in the St. Louis metro area.

We are hiring CRNAs for our Magnet-Recognized hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, located in an esteemed area of St. Louis, MO.

Role

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Responsibilities
  • Participates in professional development
  • Provides direct patient care and documents care given
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws governing anesthesia services
  • Completes the pre-anesthesia patient record, reviews laboratory data, and begins induction when appropriate
  • Collaborates with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures
  • Maintains safety standards as this is a safety-sensitive position requiring a constant state of alertness
Minimum Requirements
  • Education:
    Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree
  • Experience: < 2 years
  • Licenses & Certifications:
    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Preferred Requirements
  • Education:
    Master's Degree in Nursing
Benefits and Compensation
  • Base salary starts at $243,500 for new grads (salary based on CRNA experience)
  • Supplemental pay for call and hours beyond scheduled shifts
  • Sign-On Bonus of $30,000
  • Advanced Sign-On Bonus option for Students of $1,500/month
  • Annual Call Bonus of $15,000 for taking call
  • Annual Merits eligibility

Schedule
  • Call-taking position with a great work/life balance
