Position Duties:

  • Conducting pre-operative evaluations, monitoring patient vitals, and preparing for anesthesia induction.
  • Administers anesthesia under an anesthesiologist's direction and collaboration, and ensures life support functions during procedures, including induction and intubation.
  • Manage pre- and post-anesthesia care, respond to abnormal patient reactions, and provide emergency interventions like intubation and resuscitation when needed.
  • Responsibilities also include maintaining detailed records, communicating patient status, adhering to infection control protocols, and ensuring proper equipment function.
