Clinical Nurse PACU Interventional Radiology

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, managing interventional radiology cases, and caring for both post-operative and critically ill patients. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on post-treatment management, and collaboration with an interprofessional team to develop and implement individualized care plans. The nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, while promoting quality care and professional development.

• Assessing patient needs and developing care plans aligned with standards of nursing care
• Educating patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
• Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities
• Using critical thinking to evaluate patient conditions and preferences, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors
• Maintaining communication across care teams and ensuring safety-sensitive work practices

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Current RN license
• Experience in pre/post or critical care preferred, with at least 2 years of experience for advanced roles
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
