Part Time ICU Nurse

The position involves providing direct patient care in a critical care environment, primarily within an ICU setting. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance. Responsibilities include educating patients and families, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interprofessional team to ensure effective communication across the continuum of care.

The role requires utilizing critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Experience in ICU required; no supervisor experience necessary
• Ability to work night shifts, part-time
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Committed to safety-sensitive practices and professional development

Key Duties:

• Provide patient assessments, planning, and interventions
• Educate patients and families on managing illness, medications, and post-discharge care
• Participate in safety, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance
