Stepdown Unit – Clinical Nurse

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Supports a healing environment by educating patients and families, and ensuring clear communication of care plans across the continuum.
• Maintains safety standards, working in a constant state of alertness, and adheres to regulatory requirements.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  Certifications:
  
  Active RN license required.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
