Cardiac Cath Lab – Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Focuses on promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including patient assessment, sedation, pharmacologic support, and post-procedure stabilization. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and cultural needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
• Strong critical nursing skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment
• Preferred experience in ED, ICU, or Cardiac settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the team and patients
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations
