Role
Provides outpatient infusion nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established standards.
ResponsibilitiesDelivers patient- and family-centered care, educates on illness management and post-treatment needs, promotes safety and quality compliance, develops individualized care plans, and assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
Qualifications & SkillsRequires RN licensure, a nursing diploma or associate's degree, with preferred Bachelor's degree and < 2 years of experience. Previous oncology and chemo certification are advantageous.
Key DutiesAdministers medications, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products, collaborates with healthcare teams, and communicates care plans effectively.
