Clinical Nurse – Inpatient Oncology

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized leukemia/lymphoma unit, managing moderate to high acuity cases such as chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and post-treatment complications. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.

• Promote patient and family-centered care, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and home care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and communicate care plans.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; RN licensure required.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and attentively in a high-acuity environment.

This role offers part-time shifts, with a focus on delivering comprehensive, specialized oncology care supported by a multidisciplinary team in a Magnet-recognized hospital environment.
