Graduate Nurse

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards after completing a nursing program and prior to licensure. They must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed.

• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• This is a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.

Experience or additional certifications in nursing are advantageous but not mandatory.
