Cardiac PCU – Clinical RN​/Nights

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care for high‑acuity cardiology patients, including managing acute and intermediate conditions, titrating high‑risk drips, and caring for those with heart failure, post‑transplant, or requiring telemetry.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with ongoing professional development.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

• Required:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification within one year.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in nursing, two years of experience.
• Additional training in ECG, invasive monitoring, LVAD management, and acute care is provided.
