Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment within a Level I Trauma Center. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, promoting patient and family-centered approaches. Collaborates with physicians, therapists, case managers, and pharmacists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Utilizes critical thinking and clinical skills to evaluate patient conditions and ensure safety. Participates in professional development and quality improvement activities.

- Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required;
Bachelor's preferred. - Current RN licensure.
- No prior experience necessary; two years of experience preferred for advanced roles.
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work alertly and safely in a dynamic setting.
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in safety initiatives.
- Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans involving the patient and multidisciplinary team.
- Assess physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, addressing barriers to care.
