Clinical Nurse Oncology

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care on a specialized 30-bed unit dedicated to female patients, primarily focusing on GYN Oncology. Key responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on illness management and post-treatment needs. The role requires developing individualized care plans collaboratively, ensuring effective communication across care teams, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual considerations.

The position emphasizes safety awareness and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

• BSN or ADN required; RN licensure
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and maintain alertness

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care
• Educate patients and families on treatment and home care
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans
• Assess diverse patient needs, respecting values and cultural backgrounds
