Clinical Nurse - Oncology

This position involves providing direct patient care on a 32-bed oncology unit specializing in blood cancers. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management and post-treatment needs, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures comprehensive care for moderate to high-acuity patients receiving complex interventions such as chemotherapy, pain management, and blood support.

• Current RN license; BSN or ADN preferred; GNs considered
• Experience is not mandatory; 2+ years preferred for certain roles
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work safely and in alertness is essential

• Develop and document individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families for self-care and medication management
• Participate in professional development and team communication
