Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care within established standards.
ResponsibilitiesPromotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in safety, quality, and compliance activities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Maintains safety-sensitive standards, ensuring alertness and safe work practices.
QualificationsRequires a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, with preferred Bachelor's Degree and ≥2 years of experience. No supervisory experience needed.
SkillsStrong assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities, along with critical thinking and cultural sensitivity.
