Experience in telemetry and step-down nursing. Ability to manage cardiac drips and administer medications. Clinical skills in handling cardiac telemetry. Skills in EKG interpretation and managing patients with cardiac issues.
Description:
The Registered Nurse position focuses on telemetry and step-down care. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Patient ratios are typically 1 nurse to 4-5 patients. The role involves the management of patients with acute cardiac conditions. Nursing duties will include monitoring vital signs and interpreting cardiac rhythms. The nurse will administer medications and manage IV drips as needed.
Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The work environment may require floating within the service line to meet nursing needs. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Candidates must be adaptable and committed to patient care. Experience in cardiac telemetry and step-down units is essential for this position. This role may involve various clinical procedures related to cardiac care.
The nurse will provide education and support to patients and their families.
