Part Time - Acute Medicine Nurse

This position provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment home care. It involves participation in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, as well as professional development.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Promotes a safe and healing environment, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
• Participates in activities that uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards, and engages in ongoing professional growth.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree;
  Bachelor's preferred.
• Licenses:
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.

  Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work safely and alertly.
