Assistant Nurse Manager - GI Lab

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in a specialized endoscopy department.

• Manage and evaluate staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Assist in developing departmental staffing, budgets, and responding to operational changes to meet financial goals.
• Ensure quality patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, documenting interventions accordingly.
• Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Oversee staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including staffing needs, overtime, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain operational efficiency, staff productivity, and meet department goals as set by leadership.

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure required.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

The role requires availability for 8- or 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Leadership skills and experience in charge roles are advantageous.
