Location: St. Louis
Role Overview :
The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
- Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, adjusting to business changes.
- Ensure delivery of patient care aligned with age and developmental needs, documenting according to policy.
- Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Review staff hours, approve payroll, coordinate staff communications, assign nursing duties, and manage overtime.
- Conduct performance evaluations, recommend improvements, and handle disciplinary actions.
- Educational requirements:
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree;
Bachelor's preferred. - Experience:
2-5 years for RN with a diploma/associate's, 5-10 years with a bachelor's; supervisory experience preferred. - Licenses &
Certifications:
RN license required.
