American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a Nephrology Telemetry night shift position requiring MO or compact RN licensure and NIHSS certification.

• Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Nephrology telemetry patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend required, Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within service line to meet facility needs
• Peritoneal dialysis experience required
• Uses EPIC charting system

• Active RN license (MO or compact, cannot be tied to another compact state)
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• NURSYS certification preferred
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response for telemetry patients
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Navy scrub color required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates within 75-mile radius are not accepted
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler
• Standard travelers must reside outside a 75-mile radius and may work up to 18 months before requiring a 3-month break in service
