Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit is sought for a position in the St. Louis, MO area. This role involves providing direct patient care in a surgical stepdown setting, focusing on post-operative recovery, trauma, and high acuity medical patients.   Nights, 7:00 am 7:30 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications:
  
  Current RN license meeting Missouri licensure requirements; BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
• Experience:
  
  0 years minimum, with preference for 2 years in step down or ICU settings, post-op care, Bipap, cardiac gtt, time management, critical thinking
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required to other units with acuity equal to or lower than the primary unit, as needed
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Utilizes nursing process, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, coordinates care with interdisciplinary team, performs according to hospital and regulatory standards
• Physical/Mental Demands:
  Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients, with high risk exposure to body fluids, and physical capacity to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
