American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a PCU day shift role requiring 2 years of experience and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Acute care hospital setting in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:30)
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday for day shift)
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within Telemetry service line
• Uses EPIC charting system

• Active MO or compact RN license required (compact must match permanent residence state)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, respiratory care, and nasal cannula use
• IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management skills required
• Valid MO state license required at time of consideration

• Provide telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Navy scrub color required
• Facial hair must allow for proper respirator fit testing or be shaved
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler
• Standard travelers may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week
