Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing highly specialized cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patient care within a fast-paced, high-level trauma environment. The position requires circulating experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, supporting emergent cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

  4x10-hour shifts, from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM. Highly preferred scrub skillset; circulating experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries required. No scrub required for day shifts unless highly preferred.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  BSN degree preferred, current licensure in the state, minimum of 2 years of circulating experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum 1 year of professional experience if higher-level trauma experience is demonstrated.
• Schedule:
  
  10-hour shift, days, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Experience in cardio-thoracic, vascular (open and endovascular procedures), and transplant surgeries (liver, kidney, pancreas). Willingness to float within the service line. On-call shifts as needed, with rotations to accommodate unit needs, including holidays.
• Travel and License Requirements:
  Must have an active license in the state where the facility operates; out-of-state candidates require pending license approval.
• Operational Notes:
  No local candidates accepted within 75 miles; candidates must be willing to work within a rotating shift schedule, including call shifts.
• Patient Care:
  Handling emergent cardio-thoracic and vascular procedures, including transplant and Whipple surgeries, in a high-acuity, Level I trauma environment.
• Other:
  Must have sufficient level 1 trauma experience, scrub and circulating skills, and experience with critical cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including transplant experience for night shift.
