Description:

The role involves providing nursing care in a pediatric setting with a focus on neurosciences. Nurses will be responsible for managing patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5 in urgent situations. Candidates should be prepared to float within general medical areas as needed. Weekend shifts are required, specifically every other weekend. The position requires the administration of complex medications and support for patients with high-acuity conditions.

Essential skills include central line care, phlebotomy, and ventilator management. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is crucial for effective patient care. Travel experience is required for this role, and a commitment to work during designated holidays is expected. The daily census may vary, and nurses will need to adapt to fluctuating patient needs.
