Step-Down Nurse Night Shift Location not specified. This position involves providing expert nursing care to adult patients requiring or who have undergone cardiothoracic surgery. The role encompasses managing post-operative cardiac patients, including those with CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR, and LVAD implants, in a magnet and teaching hospital setting.

• Education Requirement:
  Valid nursing license in the applicable state at time of submittal.
• Location Requirement:
  No local candidates accepted within a 75 mile radius.

  Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Open to clinicians floating within the service line to meet facility needs.
• Previous charge experience and experience with cardiac telemetry are preferred.
• The unit provides care for adult patients requiring cardiothoracic surgery and offers a high acuity environment with patient ratios varying from 1:3 to 1:5.
• Responsibilities include managing blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, IV titrations, pacemakers, epicardial wires, and managing post-operative cardiac care.
• Necessary skills include management of dysrhythmias, cardiac drips, Vasoactive drips, and use of electronic medical record systems with experience in Epic preferred.
• The assignment start date is scheduled for 11/23/2026 with an end date of 02/22/2027.
• RTO (Requested Time Off):
  Max of 7 days must be finalized at time of submission.
• Pending License accepted; requires MO or compact license for Missouri.
• Travel experience is not required for application.
