PACU - Clinical Nurse; Part-Time

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Ensures patient safety, participates in professional development, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Adheres to safety protocols as this is a safety-sensitive position.

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's preferred
• RN licensure required
• Experience in PACU, ED, or ICU preferred; no prior experience necessary
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work alertly and safely in a clinical environment

• Monitor and care for post-operative patients in the PACU
• Educate patients and families on care management and medication
• Participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities
• Develop and document individualized care plans
• Assess patient needs holistically, considering emotional and cultural factors
