Registered Nurse; RN; Float Pool

The Float RN provides patient-centered care across 65+ inpatient units in a major hospital, supporting diverse patient populations and specialties. This full-time role involves working a 12-hour day shift, with compensation including a $15/hour float differential and applicable shift differentials. Nurses will float to different units, including high-acuity and critical care areas if ICU experience is present. • Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
• Maintain safety and adhere to standards as this role is safety-sensitive.

• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care Medical-Surgical experience; ICU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across various clinical settings.

Ideal candidates will have a BSN or be enrolled in a BSN program, with float pool experience considered a plus.
