Cardiac ICU Nurse

Provides direct patient care in a cardiac intensive care unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities that ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Ensures effective communication across the care continuum.

• Minimum education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Licensed RN with no prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in critical care, step-down, or cardiac units is highly preferred.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, including device management and advanced interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. Promote safety initiatives and engage in professional growth activities.
