Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Gastrointestinal Motility

The Pediatric GI Motility RN supports the motility program by providing specialized nursing care related to digestive muscle movement disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and patient education. The role involves developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, educating patients and families on disease management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. This position emphasizes patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and proactive communication across care teams.

• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medication administration, and post-treatment care.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, alongside ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document personalized care plans with clear goals, facilitating communication across care settings.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills, considering patient values and barriers.

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in inpatient, GI, or pediatric care; prior leadership experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, with no call nights, weekends, or holidays.
