Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and device malfunctions. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists and cardiology specialists to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
• Ensures patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans, coordinating communication across care teams and with patients and families.
• Uses advanced nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.

• Minimum:
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree, RN license, and no prior experience required.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree in nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG certifications are required.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
