Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatrics.
The nurse will work night shifts for 12 hours each.
The role involves managing high-acuity pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.
Expected patient diagnoses include neurological conditions, seizure disorders, and traumatic brain injuries.
The nurse will be responsible for administering various medications and treatments, including anti-seizure medications and intravenous therapies.
Skills in pediatric dosage calculations and early warning score assessments are essential.
The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience with charting in an electronic health record system is required.
The position may require the nurse to assist with specific procedures and manage complex patient needs.
The nurse must adhere to infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions.
There may be a holiday commitment required for either Thanksgiving or Christmas.
All travelers must complete compliance requirements prior to starting their assignment.
