Emergency Department Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

• Develop, implement, and communicate comprehensive care plans.
• Assess patient needs holistically, considering cultural, emotional, and spiritual factors.
• Maintain safety-sensitive awareness and practices at all times.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Active RN license.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of ED experience.
