American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a Level I trauma teaching hospital requiring ACLS/BLS and 1 year of experience.

• Medical Surgical unit in a short-term acute care, Level I trauma teaching hospital
• Average daily census of 15 with 12 rooms and 17 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4 on all shifts
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Option to sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within service line as needed
• Chemo administration and telemetry experience preferred
• Uses EPIC charting system

• Active MO or compact RN license required (compact must match permanent residence)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam covering interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Medical Surgical unit within a large academic medical center
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be clean-shaven or have facial hair that allows for proper respirator fit testing, no exceptions
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Permanent employees of BJC or Saint Luke's must wait 1 year before returning as a travel RN
• Standard travelers may work up to 18 months before requiring a 3-month break in service
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation
• Holiday RTO requires manager approval
