American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Step-Down position requiring 2 years of telemetry experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level I Trauma status
• Tele/Step-Down patient population with 1:4-5 patient ratios
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within service line to meet facility needs
• Uses EPIC charting system

• Active MO or compact RN license required (must match permanent residence for compact)
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• EKG interpretation and cardiac drip management experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Facial hair must allow for proper respirator fit testing

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac telemetry and step-down patients, including dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac drip management
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment
• Standard travelers may work up to an 18-month period before a required 3-month break in service
• Previous permanent BJC or Saint Luke's employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
