American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a Level I trauma academic medical center requiring a MO or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience.

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a 356-bed academic medical center
• Average daily census of 15-18 cases
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Weekend call required
• Performs procedures including TAVR, right and left heart catheterization, diagnostics, Impella insertion, ECMO, IABP, TEE, cardioversion, EP ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, Watchman, Mitra Clip, coronary angiography, ECHO, and lead extractions and reimplantation
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Level I and Level II trauma experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required skills:
  
  circulating and scrub procedures, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, ventilator management, cardiac cath lab procedures, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, TAVR, TEE, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Provide circulating and scrub support for complex cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Free onsite parking available
• Scrubs provided
• Must reside outside a 70-mile radius of the facility for consideration, as local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted with the application; additional time off afterward is at the manager's discretion
