American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a high-risk, high-volume unit at a teaching hospital requiring MO or compact RN license and AWHONN Intermediate certification.

• High-Risk Labor & Delivery unit featuring 12 private labor/delivery rooms, 6 dedicated OB triage rooms, and 2 cesarean section operating rooms
• Works closely with High-Risk Antepartum and Antepartum units on the same floor for seamless patient care
• Postpartum and recovery care provided on a separate unit, allowing focus on acute obstetric and surgical patients
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-7:00), with 3x12 schedules also accepted
• Every third weekend required
• Call required: 3 shifts of 12-hour call per scheduling period
• Epic EMR experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:2

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; high-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, FHM, STABLE
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Care for a diverse, high-acuity obstetric population including high-risk antepartum, high-risk delivery, and postpartum complications
• Collaborative academic environment with on-site Maternal-Fetal Medicine attendings, fellows, and OB/GYN residents
• Dedicated social work services support patients and families with complex medical and psychosocial needs
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates within a 70-mile radius are not accepted
• Must complete OSHA Respirator Clearance and Fit Testing prior to start; clinicians must be clean-shaven for proper mask seal, as medical or religious exemptions are not accepted
• Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler at this facility without taking a 6-month break before returning
